Howard S. Kaufman MD

Howard S. Kaufman, M.D. is Assistant Professor of Surgery at The Hopkins University School of Medicine and an attending surgeon at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. Dr. Kaufman graduated from Haverford College in 1984 and from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in 1988. He completed his surgical residency and research fellowship at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and Hospital. His primary clinical interests are in colorectal surgery and surgical oncology, including diseases of the pancreas and biliary tract. He also has an interest in minimally invasive (laparoscopic) surgery.
